Experts recommends wood flooring and bold colours for contemporary interiors

An interiors expert has said that a lack of clutter and simplicity are key to creating contemporary room styles.
James Gumersell from company Simply Door Handles claims many people often get confused about what contemporary actually means, but says that most of the concept is based on keeping things simple.
He told sourcewire.com: “It is about the look of today and some of the important ingredients of this look are simplicity, a lack of clutter and clean lines acting as a kind of canvas for the main special focal items, pieces of furniture, striking walls.”
Wood was also recommended as an ideal way to bring nature into the home, which is a big interior trend for this season, according to a guide published earlier this month on thisiscornwall.co.uk
The guide claimed that wood was a great way to introduce both character and texture in to any room. The natural trend was also cited as a way to bring calm and tranquillity into the home.
Mr Gummersell also claimed that many people like to use stainless steel when creating a modern room.
