Timber consultancy and information specialist revamps website

A leading timber consultancy, research and information company has revamped its website to offer an even more comprehensive insight into the use of wood in construction projects.
TRADA Technology Ltd (TTL) specialises in offering technical tips, tricks, site surveys, training and certification to any company or individual that either uses wood as a design material, or simply has a interest in timber generally.
TTL therefore could be a first stop for businesses looking to install real wood flooring on their premises, should they want to understand its many benefits, or use it as a cladding material. Alternatively, it could be a top resource for companies who supply these services.
Specificationonline.co.uk says that TTL’s other areas of expertise include the use of timber in decking, structural jobs, panel products, and in building systems. TTL also gives advice on wood waste.
With over 75 year’s worth than expertise, it has been quite the job to consolidate all of this technical information and know-how into a user-friendly format, says TTL chief operating officer Jon Osborn.
“We hope the site better reflects the breadth of work that TRADA Technology does, presenting it an easy-to-use and understandable format designed for a wide variety of users,” he said.
Forestry.gov.uk explains that wood remains a popular interior and structural design material, not only because it does the job and looks great, but because it has the lowest carbon footprint of any commonly used building material.
