What To Expect From Us

At Russdales we only have the finest Floor Layers and pride ourselves on the quality of their fitting. All have Public Liability Insurance and a minimum of 10 years experience in their chosen field, some for as long as 40 years. They will arrive at your home in sign written vehicles, smartly dressed in Polo Shirts with our Logo on, so you know you are dealing with the right people. After they have introduced themselves they will do the following:

• Inspect area where new flooring is to go.
• Advise if there are potential problems that need to be rectified ie. Loose floor boards, doors needing to be trimmed etc.
• They will prepare the floor and install new floor covering
• They will take all rubbish / waste from the job
• After you make your final inspection they will ask for payment of the balance which should be paid to him and he will sign your invoice to say that the balance has been paid.

How You Can Help Us

Whenever there are works going on in our homes there is always disruption, so all of us want the job to go as smoothly and quickly as possible to avoid stress. We would advise the following to help us avoid problems:

• Clear rooms of valuables, personal, breakables and smaller items.
• Remove old floor covering, this stops dust being created on the day of installation and enables us to inspect the sub floors before hand.
• Clear access to room ie. Pictures off walls etc.
• Tell us if there are pipes or cables under the floor that could be damaged if we nail the floor down.
• Arrange a parking space or permit as goods are bulky and heavy so we need to unload as close to the property as possible.

Now we all know that sometime we cannot do all of the above because of time factors or personal circumstances, don’t panic we can help. We have a service where we can be given a key to your home, come in, remove furniture, remove old floors, install new floor and them clean up and replace the furniture. So when you come home the job is all done with no fuss. Obviously this will incur an extra charge depending on the size of area and the amount of furniture.
