The homeowners chose Alternative Flooring Wool Iconic in Grant for this beautiful Edwardian home in Fernleigh Road, N21. The refined wool carpet provides a warm, timeless foundation, while the Grant colour complements the period character of the property beautifully.
The carpet was carefully cut and made into a bespoke stair runner, then professionally fitted in-house by Russdales Flooring. A taped fabric edge in Army Green was added to frame the runner, while a special curved edge detail was created at the landing with an inverted bullnose, requiring careful cutting and precision fitting.
The staircase was finished with Jubilee stair rods in Chrome, adding a classic decorative detail and a crisp contrast against the wool runner and Army Green edging. The combination of traditional materials, bespoke detailing and skilled in-house fitting creates a beautifully tailored finish that suits this Edwardian N21 property.
