For this project, Amtico Spacia Small Parquet in Honey Oak was selected to create a classic herringbone floor with a contemporary finish. The flooring was laid in a herringbone design with a plank-on-edge border, giving the installation a crisp, framed appearance and adding definition to the room.
The Amtico flooring was installed over a Jumpax subfloor system, providing an efficient alternative to traditional screeding and helping to create a suitable, stable base for the new floor. Our team also managed the practical side of the installation, including moving all furniture and carefully returning it to position once the flooring was complete.
The finished floor combines the warm natural appearance of Honey Oak with the timeless herringbone layout and bespoke perimeter border. The use of the Jumpax system allowed the project to be completed without screeding, while Russdales Flooring’s careful preparation and professional in-house fitting ensured a precise and seamless result.
