The project involved installing Furlong Flooring Next Step Rustic Coffee, a 125mm-wide, 18mm-thick engineered oak floor, chosen for its warm rustic character and rich coffee tones. The flooring brings a sophisticated yet natural feel to the property in London N4, while lighter oak flooring was also fitted across two rooms to create a balanced and complementary finish throughout the home.
As part of the transformation, the existing stairs were carefully sanded and stained in-house, using a rich dark coffee colour to coordinate with the new oak flooring. Our experienced fitting team paid close attention to the transitions between the different flooring tones, ensuring the installation flowed naturally from one area to the next.
The completed project combines the depth and warmth of the Rustic Coffee engineered oak with the contrasting lighter oak used in the two rooms. The dark, freshly stained staircase provides a strong visual feature, while the detailed preparation and professional fitting by Russdales Flooring deliver a durable and beautifully finished result.
