This project in Blakeware Gardens, London N9, showcases the timeless appeal of Amtico Spacia in the beautiful Royal Oak design. The client selected the classic 3″ x 9″ small parquet format, expertly laid in a traditional herringbone pattern with a plank border to frame the room and create a refined, elegant finish. The warm oak tones complement both traditional and contemporary interiors, making this a versatile flooring choice that will remain stylish for years to come.
As with every Russdales project, this installation was completed by our experienced in-house fitting team. The floor was prepared using 5.5mm SP101 plywood to provide a stable, long-lasting foundation before the Amtico flooring was installed. A bespoke finger block feature was carefully crafted at the doorway, creating a seamless transition that perfectly aligned with the existing Amtico flooring in the hallway. Every cut, angle and detail was completed with precision to ensure a flawless finish throughout the property.
To complete the installation, we fitted a solid oak trim around the fireplace, professionally stained in a rich dark oak finish to complement the Royal Oak flooring. The combination of the herringbone layout, decorative border, bespoke doorway detailing and handcrafted timber finishing creates a sophisticated floor that enhances the character of this London N9 home while providing exceptional durability for everyday living.
