For this project, our in-house fitting team carried out a full installation to the landing and upper stairs, carefully transforming the flooring into a bespoke stair runner. Precision is essential when creating a runner from flatweave flooring, particularly when working with patterned materials where alignment must remain consistent across every step and landing. Every section was expertly measured, cut, and fitted to achieve a seamless and professional result.
To complete the installation, the runner on the lower staircase was finished with a striking black fabric edge, creating a sharp contrast against the soft Chalk tones of the flooring. This tailored edging detail helps define the runner while adding a contemporary design feature that enhances the overall look of the staircase. The finished installation delivers a practical, hard-wearing solution that combines comfort, style, and expert craftsmanship.
