This elegant flooring project transformed a beautiful period property in Muswell Hill, North London (N10) with a bespoke Fibre Flooring flatweave herringbone carpet in the refined Fine Raffia colourway. The natural woven texture perfectly complements the character of a traditional home while providing a durable and practical finish for busy family life. To create a seamless flow throughout the property, the staircase design was carefully coordinated with Amtico Décor Classic Goldstone flooring installed in the hallway, bringing warmth, texture and timeless style together.
Our experienced in-house fitting team created a fully bespoke stair runner across two flights of stairs, carefully cutting and shaping the Fibre Flooring material to achieve a flawless fit. Every section was measured with precision to ensure the herringbone pattern remained perfectly aligned throughout the installation. This level of craftsmanship is what allows each Russdales stair runner to enhance the original features of period homes while delivering a durable, long-lasting finish.
To complete the installation, the runner was finished with a striking 50mm taped edge in Tuscan Red (8592), selected to complement the colours within the adjoining hallway and create a distinctive visual border. Jubilee antique brass stair rods were then installed, adding an elegant finishing touch that enhances both the classic styling and the architectural character of this impressive Muswell Hill home.
